50 book challenge

as i take down all my holiday decorations i am reminded that i haven't yet publicly admitted defeat on the 50 book challenge for 2011
i failed!  sob, gasp, sniffle
i only read 48 books in 2011

but...
i kinda think i won too
i read 48 books in 2011
that's not too shabby, not at all
and three of them were beer books!

jury's still out on trying again in 2012
lemme get back to you on that after my vacation!
(meaning that if i read enough books on vacation to have put a dent into 50 for 2012, challenge on!  if i don't get around to reading on the beach, then screw it, i shall read purely for pleasure in 2012!)
