Surrey, B.C. – What do you get when you combine maple syrup, bacon and Red Racer beer? The best-selling, limited release Jeff O’Neil Show Red Racer Maple Bacon Ale - a tasty collaboration beer between Central City Brewers + Distillers and CFOX’s Jeff O’Neil Show. Because everything tastes better with bacon!

“We had tremendous success with last year’s release and were sold out within a couple of weeks,” says Tim Barnes, Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Central City. “We had a blast working with CFOX and the Jeff O’Neil team so we’re bringing back this limited release because fans just couldn’t get enough of this beer! I mean, what doesn’t taste good with bacon?”

The Jeff O’Neil Show Red Racer Maple Bacon Ale combines an easy-drinking amber ale with hints of maple and smoky bacon. Brewed with beechwood-smoked rauchmalt with a splash of Canadian maple syrup, the flavour forward yet sessionable Maple Bacon Ale can be enjoyed any time of the day.

“We can’t think of any better compliment to our team than the Red Racer Maple Bacon Ale,” says Jeff O’Neil, host of the Jeff O’Neil Show on the World Famous CFOX 99.3 Vancouver. “I mean, who can say no to bacon and beer? The fact that Central City created this beer for us is simply beertastic!”

The limited release Jeff O'Neil Show Red Racer Maple Bacon Ale (5% ABV) will be available in BC liquor stores and fine private liquor stores first week of May in 650 ml bottles ($5.25).
